Captain Willard 6105 SKX007/SRPD Watch Case

  • Material – HQ Stainless Steel 316L surgical grade
  • Finish – Polished on the side and Brushed on top.
  • Parts Compatibility – Fits all SKX007/SRPD parts except bracelets. OEM 6105 straps, 6105 aftermarket straps/bracelets and 20mm straight end straps fit.
  • Testing – Tested during development to 350 meters with no failures.

    I had enough bits and pieces in my bits box to build a watch, except for a case. So, I ordered this one.

    The quality was much better that the cheap case I previously ordered from a well know far eastern website. Yes, more expensive but not as expensive as some and worth the money.

    The finish is every bit up to Seiko standards

    I was worried about the weight, but with a supple strap it was far more comfortable than I expected and the weight quickly disappeared.

    I have built a couple of watches based on original SKX donors, but with the price of the SKX going up there is a strong argument for building from after market parts.
